One of my absolute favorite gifts of not only this holiday season, but ever, came from my 15 year old sister. Baby Girl has taken up a new craft...dragon making! (it's a thing. who knew?)
She made one for each of the children and one for me. Our four little domestic demigods are currently taking up residence high up in a transom window, to protect their delicate forms. But while they may be out of reach, they have never the less become a regular part of our daily routine and existence. Upon rising, the kids push over a chair and each dragon is greeted individually. I regularly come across a child balanced on tip-toe conversing with them. And neither Iain, nor Elijah, would ever think of going to bed without first wishing each one a good night.
Since they seem to have become one with the family, I wanted to introduce you!
This is Mary Poppins Gothmo Pippi, dragon to Iain and keeper of the magical wizard's staff.

Next is Micheal, accompanied by Creepy, Peepy and Cheepy: Caretaker to the birds and companion to Elijah.
And last, but certainly not least, we have Penelope, a dragon after my own heart...

wow, she is right! Each one has their own personality, and each one is so talent filled! Your son in the hat looks just like my sons best friend Ethan Holland, who is 11 years old. Might they be related? When I saw that picture, what a shock!
