We currently have five boards down which means we are about a third of the way done. We're not getting to the tricky part where we have to move the bed and start trying to work around it. It's being done slowly by hand. An hour or two after work here and there. A friend offered to lend us the proper power tools for the installation, but there just isn't enough room for all of the parts up there. It's easier just to do it by hand. Besides we can't seem to pull enough power up from the other house to get the compressor to work properly.
The floor looks really nice (for now anyway, I know it won't last!). I hope we can get it done in time for Christmas. That's the goal. I can't wait to put in baseboards! I've been dreaming about baseboards for such a long time now. Baseboards are such a nearly finished kind of thing...
