Oh, Oliver!

Be prepared for way too many pictures!

This is the outfit that I made Galen for the Blessing.

The pants pattern is "Oliver" from Ottobre 6/2007.

The hat is pattern #25 "Cap" from Ottobre 4/2007.

I never did get around to finishing the shirt, so he's just wearing a wool undershirt underneath.

Both hat and pants are made from color-grown, organic chenille corduroy, color: chai.

I'm pretty sure this is the most adorable thing I have ever made.

And the outfit's pretty darn cute too.

Oh my, I love those little overalls! I would love to make those for my 2 year old. . .I'd also love to see a color photo so I can see the color of the pants!
What a little darling boy you have.

Claire- yeah, we stole that idea from you! lol The big boys wanted to play a card game and Galen was annoyed at being left out and I was trying to think of something to amuse him and that was the first thing that sprung to mind! It worked though. I did that with him and then he was happy to play with it/eat them while we played our game.

Melanie- I'm going to do a post about the blessing at some point, so you'll be able to see the color then.

I love that pattern! I made it for Christmas 2007 and my little guy still wears the hat. I think another hat is coming this winter because it is by far his favorite and he's finally outgrown it! Thanks for sharing your pics, your little ones are so precious!

Okay, your sewing skills impress me often, but this one takes the cake. The cuteness incredible, and it just looks so wonderfully made. And that boy of yours is the sweetest thing. Can't wait to hear about the blessing.
