News that our first frost was imminent sent us out into the gardens yesterday, bringing in house plants, transplanting herbs to be brought indoors for the winter, harvesting tomatoes, basil and sunflowers....lots of sunflowers. There are now sunflowers spilling out of every vase in every room of the house, and I must say, it's rather pleasant!Friday, September 19, 2008
Gathering in the Last Little Bit of Summer....
News that our first frost was imminent sent us out into the gardens yesterday, bringing in house plants, transplanting herbs to be brought indoors for the winter, harvesting tomatoes, basil and sunflowers....lots of sunflowers.
