Actually I'm not quite back yet, as I still have a great deal to do this evening, in order to get ready for Elijah's birthday tomorrow. I was just feeling bad about leaving you with nothing but my tulips to look at, lovely though they may be. So I thought I would just pop in for a quick post.
These are the dishcloths I gave to my mother for Mother's Day.

Unlike my Mother-in-law, who prefers vivid colors and strong geometric forms, my own Mother's style favors a more delicate and understated look, as well as anything and everything blue.

One of the dishcloths is horribly flawed, a fact that drives me crazy. Steve assured me that it wasn't noticeable to others. The fact is that I ran out of time and they've already been gifted, so I will simply have to live with it.

She hasn't actually opened them yet. I'm really hoping that she likes them!
