Currently on needles...

So my other pseudo-resolution is to pay more attention to my projects and not just leave half-finished things laying in a box or bag somewhere for months on end.

I had planned on finishing up everything I had on needles before starting anything new. But I already back-tracked on that one....twice.

Currently in progress:

*W
This is the contoured tank top from knitty.com that I am making for myself. I started it several months ago, made good progress in the beginning, started having trouble with the holes developing after the short-rows (even though I'm making sure to pick up the wrap, I don't get it...) put it aside and never went back to it.

*Baby's x-mas outfit
'member when I started this one?? It was back in December sometime I think. I decided to design an outfit for Galen to wear for Christmas. You want to hear the really sad part?? I actually finished the entire thing, except for the button band and sewing on of buttons. And you know what? I never bothered to come back to it after Christmas. I'm thinking it's time to suck it up and finish, seeing as it's probably not going to fit him for much longer!

*Two-toned Baby Socks
I'm on the second sock of the second pair of two-toned baby socks (do you think that has some sort of numerological significance?). I would have to go back and see when I started these. I know that I posted about it. Maybe a couple of weeks ago?

I just turned the heel and am working on the gusset.

*Rosa's Slippers
This is a baby present for a friend. I started them tonight. So far I have one sole completed.

Herringbone Sweater
I am making this sweater for Iain. My goodness that boy got big! I looked up the size I wanted to make for him and went to cast on, 102 stitches for the back of said sweater. We picked out a cotton yarn in shades of light blue. I think it's really going to look nice on him. It will complement his pale blue eyes and fair skin perfectly.

I started the sweater on Sunday night after the kids went to bed. I'm a ball of yarn and about 8 1/2 inches up the back. I'm hoping he will be able to wear it for Easter.

Steve's Slippers
I still have to take the soles off of these and re-felt them. I'm hoping to get a couple of other slippers done this week and felt them all at once.

* Being made with "stash yarns", the others I actually bought yarn for.
